Explore Sam's Big Mountain exploits in the new episode of "Portraits" by Faction Skis, highlighting his peers, all former or new participants in the Freeride World Tour: Elisabeth Gerritzen, Martin Bender and Yann Rausis.

Often pigeonholed as a "competitive skier", we set out to redefine Alex Hall's position as one of the world's most versatile athletes.
Where does he draw his inspiration? What legacy does he hope to leave? Alex opens up to us to share his story.

She's made a name for herself on the global freeride scene thanks to bold line choices and unwavering determination.
In the second episode of the Portraits, Unfiltered series of short films, we look at the remarkable skiing career of Elisabeth Gerritzen. After a seven-year campaign on the Freeride World Tour, Elisabeth - affectionately nicknamed "Eli" - took the crown in 2022. Just as she seemed to be at the peak of her career, she set out on a quest to find out what competition really meant to her. Accompanied by her peers, Unfiltered films Elisabeth at a turning point in her career, as she charts her path beyond competition. Armed with her mastery of freeskiing and a frank vision of the world as sharp as her edges, Eli's journey is far from over.
