Culture at the height of children

How to spark your children’s cultural curiosity?

That’s the challenge we’ve decided to take on in La Clusaz! Your little explorers are eager for discoveries and ready to embark on a thousand and one adventures, as long as they’re just right for them. We will show you how to turn every outing into a true treasure hunt, where every place becomes a playground and every piece of information a fascinating story. We’re ready to become the fearless guides for your young adventurers, ready to conquer the world… or at least our local culture.

So, let’s put on our sneakers and set off on an adventure!

MINI EXPLORERS DISCOVERING THE VILLAGE

Throughout the season, children will have the opportunity to discover the village of La Clusaz from a new perspective with Gisèle, our passionate Savoie Mont-Blanc heritage guide. During a 40-minute tour, Gisèle will share the stories, secrets, and legends of La Clusaz. Who knows, she might even reveal where the village’s secret treasure is hidden (hint: it’s not in the fountain!).

The children will leave with their heads full of memories and their imaginations brimming with mountain tales. And don’t worry, no rams will be kidnapped for this guided tour!

The Barn of the Minis

This summer, the ice rink in La Clusaz transforms into a captivating play area for young children. Through six diverse thematic worlds such as the village at the summit, from alpine meadows to cheese, and from wood to chalet, little ones can explore the enchanting universe of the mountains. They will discover nature and the rich heritage of La Clusaz through hands-on games, construction activities, and motor skills courses.

It’s a fun and educational way to encourage children and their parents to embark on adventures and explore everything around us in our mountains.

Afternoon snack at the farm

It’s all well and good to fill our kids’ heads with the village’s history, but now it’s time for the best part of the day: snack time! There’s nothing better than visiting our animal friends to replenish and enjoy a guided tour. To make your choice, ask yourself whether your spirit animal is more of a goat or a cow.

The first option takes us to the Goat Farm at Les Confins, where you can relax amidst the alpine meadows in very good company. As for the cows, embark on a journey to Lorette Farm for a tasting of farm-fresh Reblochon cheese and witness milking demonstrations. Corbassières Farm also offers a gourmet break in the heart of an old barn with views of the Aravis mountain range.

So many choices to savor our cheese specialties!

IN SEARCH OF ANIMALS

Every week, a guide from the La Clusaz guide office offers outings to breathe, feel, touch, taste, and observe the wildlife and flora of the Aravis alpine pastures! Whether it’s observing marmots, discovering chamois, or experiencing the awakening of nature, the mountain offers countless possibilities.

GET INFORMED
