Whether it’s for a family outing, a stroll with friends, or simply to recharge, these hikes allow you to breathe the pure mountain air. All this without needing Kilian Jornet’s cardio.

To tantalize your taste buds

LES CORBASSIÈRES

Begin your adventure by taking the Beauregard gondola in La Clusaz. Enjoy the ascent and admire the breathtaking view of the village below and the surrounding mountains! Once at the top, start your downhill walk towards the charming Ferme des Corbassières. There, indulge in a local snack featuring blueberry tart, fresh farm cheese, and other regional delights. Then continue your hike to Lac de la Ferriaz, offering a spectacular view of the Aravis Range. This spot is perfect for a photo break and peaceful contemplation of the landscape. When you’re ready to continue, follow signs marked “La Clusaz via hameau de la Patton”. This trail will lead you through a typical Aravis hamlet, where the authenticity and charm of alpine chalets transport you to another time. Carry on walking until you reach the center of La Clusaz village, marking the end of this beautiful hike.

Plan for approximately 2 hours for the entire descent.

For a refreshing experience

TOUR of LAC DES CONFINS

For this short walk with minimal elevation gain, park above the Chapelle des Confins. Then, follow the path to the right after the parking lot until you reach the zip line. From there, you can take a leisurely stroll around the lake to enjoy its refreshing atmosphere. This approximately 3 km loop promises a magnificent panorama, perfect for a relaxing family outing!

For the more adventurous, you can also connect to longer hiking routes such as the Tour de la Tête de Danay or the Lac de Tardevant.

For a picnic with a view

LES ENCARNES

For a picnic with a breathtaking view, head to Les Encarnes in La Clusaz. From the village center, take the Crêt du Merle chairlift and then the Crêt du Loup chairlift. At the top, a spectacular panorama awaits you. Enjoy this moment by settling down on our furnished terrace, equipped with a plancha, comfortable sun loungers, and picnic tables. For thrill-seekers, you can experience La Bascule for an exhilarating aerial adventure.

After this enjoyable break, it’s time to hit the trail again. Follow the signposted path towards “La Clusaz” that crosses through Combe du Voret. Along the way, you’ll descend through shaded forest paths, offering a cool and tranquil retreat under the canopy of trees. Plan for approximately 2 hours to descend back to the village. This hike is perfect for those looking to combine outdoor activity with a picnic in an exceptional setting.

PLATEAU DE BEAUREGARD

Embark on a gentle stroll through the heart of Plateau de Beauregard, a pristine natural site in La Clusaz. Each step is accompanied by the soothing sound of cowbells from herds, creating a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. From the village, ascend using the Beauregard Plateau gondola. Once at the top, wander through picturesque alpine farms, where authenticity and tranquility reign. Let yourself be captivated by the bucolic landscapes, where nature and traditions blend harmoniously to offer you an unforgettable experience.

Plan for approximately 1 hour to complete the full loop. This walk is ideal for those seeking to recharge in an exceptional natural setting while enjoying the charms of the Haut-Savoyard alpine pastures.
