The top 5 unique things to do in the mountains

Fill your summer with incredible moments full of laughs, adrenalin, liberation, and time out. Here are 6 unique activities to take home some wonderful memories.

Fly over a lake

Appreciate the view in a whole different way on a 1000m flight over Lake Confins. 2 zip lines of 700m and 300m cross over the plateau in the middle of the mountains. Fly like a bird over this beautiful preserved landscape, overlooked by the surrounding mountains, part of the Aravis range, for a totally different and speedy way to enjoy nature!

The best stunts on the Big Air Bag

In the centre of the village in the heart of the mountains, when summer smells of cut grass and the mountain pastures are once again green, the Big Air Bag is where the action is. Every day, the Champ Giguet becomes an exhibition space, where people come to attempt the best jumps, turns and spins on the Big Air Bag. Anyone can attempt the big jump, with an accompanying video included!

A beach… in the mountains

Get away from it all, the alpine way. You may not be on the beaches of the Atlantic, but the Aqua Park in La Clusaz has a lot going for it with its exterior pool and unrivalled view over the peaks. As you relax with your feet in the water, gaze out over the mountains and plan your next hike, or location for an overnight camp. A unique space to relax in the sun with a mountain view.

Delve into Reblochon and ski culture

Everyone loves to come home from their holidays with stories to tell about new discoveries from their holiday destination. La Clusaz has a choice of places to find out about the history of the ski resort and understand how alpine life has evolved. The Hameau des Alpes is an interactive museum full of videos, games and workshops to learn about Reblochon and the beginning of skiing in the Aravis.

Glide through the fields

Enjoy an exhilarating luge run as well as a cable car ride with a breath-taking view over the Aravis. What could be better than zooming 800m down through the fields to the village? Another unique way to travel in summer!
